Paul Nevin (Not Pat)
Our first team coach apparently has offers elsewhere and is currently considering them.

Could be a loss of another of Moyes’s back room staff.

This one could be quite a big one as well because Nevin is highly regarded and also works with England.

I always think unless they are just CONE donkeys that assistants should be someone who challenges the manager with some different viewpoints rather than being his yes man buddy.
Obviously most manager just seem to want their old mates who do what they are told.

Always used to get frustrated with Curbishley and his MATE Merv. Showed in his management that it was all a bit pedestrian

Steve ROUND has also assisted Allardyce and McClaren, so I'd image the complete opposite philosophy someone like Warburton attempted to bring to the club.

What is this WHO symptom about wishing luck to people that you don't know? He won't even be reading. I couldn't give two hoots if he has good luck, bad luck or no fucking luck, it's all very strange and mincey in my humble.

Back on topic, backroom staff come and go all the time, so unless you really do want to make a drama out of it for the sake of it, I highly doubt it will effect this season much if Nevin is here or not. He won't be missed.

Re: Paul Nevin (Not Pat)
Well good luck to him if he has gone but im not buying all this nonsense that its all down to Moyes, may have been with the other fella but lets be frank, for long periods last season we were shit and clueless, that's NOT just down to Moyes IMO, the coaching staff need to take some responsibility, so just maybe we will get someone better?

And just on the other fella and mate of Moyes who was a failed manager amongst other things and whose name i have forgotten already? Maybe we are better off without him as before he arrived, we at least managed to finish just outside the top 4/5.

Suppose if this Round geezer does team up with Moyes again we will find out if he has any influence and secondly if any of Arsenal’s improvement was due to him since he supposedly joined when Arteta did?

Alan Irvine is a fantastic coach.

Apparently his influence was hugely missed.

The last 4 weeks have been seeing arsenal kids online throwing their toys out their prams.

Now its for the west ham kids online to do the same?

Nevin was a very good coach. The rest, Pearce, Warburton, Newman, Irvine hardly pulled up any trees!

I would welcome a fresh approach with the new Director of football. But transfers won't happen in 24 hours espcially the big transfers, contracts and wages ones.

Just a short trip around the North Circular for him.

Sounds like we getting a square peg.

Re: Paul Nevin (Not Pat)
Moyes will almost certainly make a call to Steve Round: Moyes appointed him at Everton and Man Utd.

But Round might instead fancy a cushy director of football role - like the one he held at Villa.

We could do worse than get him, though.

I think coaches should move on every few years, get some new ideas in.

Rule number 1 when you are leaving a position but staying/looking for employment within the same industry:

In public always be respectful about your previous employer and be positive about your experiences with that employer.

It's a small world and you never know when spilling the beans on a bad experience or slating a previous boss will come back and bite you on the arse.

Billy McKinley, Nolan and Valero the goalkeeping coach- I’m sure Noble will also assist when needed. If not, Brady can throw her weight about or give her husband a coaching job.
GOOD INNIT !

Re: Paul Nevin (Not Pat)
So sorry who do we have as coach now? Just Moyes and Nolan who is promoted to the goal celebration coach now?

*holds head in hands

Lets hope our new DOF has a long list of coaches he should go for as well as all the playing positions we need to fill....

Jeez only at West Ham!

What's anyone going to believe? A public statement from the club where the guy leaving praises the club or uninformed speculation on random sites. It has to be the latter or where would we be with conspiracy theories.
